We (Steph & I) have never driven fully x-country, so when the need to see the new twin grandbabies in OR came in confluence with a 6 week calendar opening and the itch to see the USA…what else but a ROAD TRIP.
Departure sometime mid-April & return just prior to Memorial Day weekend. Lots of National Parks, Monuments, and scenic places will be -hopefully- committed to digital memory.
Doing the trip in the Daimler tow vehicle; 2006 Toyo 4-runner. Figure we will enjoy the higher sight height and be less wx concerned with the 4wd.
If all goes as planned, there will be pre-trip updates and status reports from on the roads.
